She was born June 21, 1929, at Little Otter, Braxton County, the daughter of the late Robert and Opal May Elizabeth Skidmore Rader. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Argyle K. “Bill” Dobbins, who died in 1976; twin sons; one deceased brother, Homer S. Rader; and one much-loved grandson, David L. “Baby Dave” Jack Jr. She was a Christian, a member of the Morrison Ridge United Methodist Church, homemaker and was a very dedicated volunteer in Braxton County. She belonged to Women's Aid in Crisis, Food Pantry, Silver-Haired Legislature, Braxton County 4-H, Onward Homemakers, former member of Sutton Rebecca Lodge, Braxton County Senior Citizens, and Literacy Volunteers of America-Braxton County Chapter. She was a youth leader at the Morrison Ridge United Methodist Church. A celebration of Peggie's life will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, W.Va., with the Rev. Stephanie Malcolm and the Rev. Bill Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway.
